STEM Advocate & Social Entrepreneur

Melissa Rancourt is the Founder and Board President of a rapidly-growing non-profit organisation (headquartered in Europe and the US), greenlight for girls. Melissa volunteers her time to her passion to encourage young girls and women around the world and across all backgrounds to continue their studies and professions in STEM-oriented careers. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics is a part of simply everything around us. With the incredibly inspiring greenlight for girls (g4g) team, she helps to infuse creativity, fun, quirkiness and limitless energy into helping others to learn (sometimes) complex and technical subjects to unlock their world into further possibilities. She started this non-profit with a purposeful dream - and with an amazing community of more than 8,500 role models, g4g has now reached over 58,000 students with over 370 direct, impactful learning events across 103 cities, 34 countries on 6 continents. And continues to grow.

Melissa has been named one of the Top 100 Women in Social Enterprises in 2021 by Euclid Network and the EU.
